Flying Delta.. can I bring a laptop and a purse?
I’ll be flying delta and was wondering if I had my laptop in its case and a purse would that count as two carry on bags? Should I put them in a backpack just to be safe? If so do I need to take the laptop out of the backpack when putting it through the security screening?
You’re allowed one carry on item and a personal item. Your purse is your “personal item” and then the laptop bag would be your 1 carry on. You’re fine.
And yes, you need to remove the laptop from the bag and put it in a plastic bin by itself to go through the xray. Your purse and empty laptop bag will also need to go through the xray.
