Are there top rope anchors at holcomb valley pinnacle climbing area in big bear, ca?
I am looking to do a little climbing in the area and then a little backpacking in mid april and don’t mind some beg level sport lead but would like to set top rope for a friend and do not have trad gear to do it with.
The last time I was there, there were, however the folks using the top had slings out and were not using them. Safety first they said not knowing how old they were. I agree use your own gear that way you know it works.
