i dont think people like me at school…what do i do?
in 6th grade i started at a new school…i was a tomboy and into things like sports, camo, etc. we had free dress that year so i was wearing football jerseys and stuff 2 school and i had a camo backpack and all
well now im in 8th grade and people still remember me as a tomboy…even though im really different now, i shop, wear makeup, wear nice clothes, and i even got my hair highlighted!!! what do i do to tell them im different now and im not weird???
You don’t need to tell them anything sweetheart. Just be yourself and good people who want to reach out and start up a friendship will. Lots of people change from a tomboy stage to the girl thing. It is a part of growing up. You walk proudly with you head held high. Those who are rude are most l;likely jealous or insecure themselves. I am sure you are liked by lots of people at school. Perhaps they are waiting for you to make the first move. Try saying hello or maybe eating lunch with someone new. Good luck to you and remember, they would be lucky to have you as a friend.
