What should I get my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day? I have an idea…?
I think I’m going to make him a cupcake with white icing and red stripes so that it look a baseball and a cupcake that has orange and black icing for a basketball. Also, I’m going to get him a backpack clip that has some cool dangling things like a basketball, baseball, heart, and other things that represent our time together. (Kind of like a boy charm bracelet) Any comments or suggestions. I’m not sure if he’ll like those or not so please, any criticism or ideas are welcome! Please and Thank you!
BTW… I’m 12 years old.
This may not make sense at all, (it doesn’t even to me) but he is really popular with his friends and they joke around about that kind of heart stuff all of the time. I think his friends would ne jealous that they didn’t have a heart– That’s what happened with the pooping reindeer I got him for christmas. (Along with other gifts of course!)

The baseball and basketball cupcakes would be good. The backpack clip sounds good too but the heart on it, hm I hope it doesnt cause ridicule between him and his friends. Guys are guys and seeing a heart on it, they might laugh =S. Maybe you can make a homemade card, to pair with ur sporty gifts! Just cut the paper like the shape of a baseball or a basketball and write a cute but unique message. Hope this helped.
The Long March(2)
The everlasting time for the Long March is October 1934-October 1936, Red Army I—the Central Red Army, led by the Communist Party, Red Army II—consisted of Army Group II and Army Group XI, Red Army IX and Army Group25 have taken a strategic withdrawal and transfer from all the Red Region to all the Shanxi-Gansu Soviet Area. The total travel route of Red Army I is over 25,000 miles, thus the Long March is also named as the march of 25,000 miles. In October 1936, Red Army I, Red Army II, Red Army IX, the three troops had met successfully at Huining of Gansu Province, symbolizing the end of the Long March. The success of Long March means that Red Army is a kind of power which cannot be defeated or conquered.
During the whole march, there were many impressive and affecting stories which still have the power to move those did not participate in the event, having been handed down for generations. Once there was a 13-year’s little girl as one member of Red Army named Xiaolan, she had got a bag of solid food with great efforts. Unfortunately she lost the bag when passing the bridge because she had to took care of one wound. In order to make sure that others will have enough food, she insisted not to tell others and input many wild vegetable into the bag, making the bag full. Soon she was sick because everyday she ate such unavailable food, when the head nurse found the truth and learned that she ate such kind of food, everyone has learned about that total truth and shared some food with the girl. The little girl felt the warmth from family, moving into tears.
There is another story, the autumn of 1945 when Red Army had entered into the grassland, due to three little comrades had been got in intestinal tract disease, the instructor had dispatched chief steward to take care of the three little comrades. They could take 20 miles every day, when arriving in the champing place, chief steward got grass roots and cook noodles for them, after half a month, the food had been eaten up. Threatened starvation, although chief steward still searched wild vegetables for them but the three little comrades have become thinner and thinner. One day, when washing beside the river, chief steward had got a little fish by chance, he had cooked a fresh fish soup as a wonderful dinner for the three little comrades. When one comrade found that chief steward ate the left food by them, his eyes were full of tears, when they finally would leave grassland, chief steward had lost his life because of starvation and sacrificed for the three little comrades.
Still passing through grassland, Chen Geng- the minister of Red Army had once met a little boy. Beard with starvation, together with his little horse, he had fallen behind the original rank, forwarding by one and one step. The little boy was just 10 years old, yellow face, a pair of big eyes, two thin clips and with a pair of poor straw sandals on his shoes. When Chen Geng invited him for horse and some fond, he refused because he just wanted to leave this for Chen Geng, finally the little poor boy has died in grassland.
When hearing these stories, there is always some tears in my eyes. I took some papers from my bag (http://www.dinodirect.com/womens-backpacks-bookbags/ ), imagined all the situations for the story happened, as a foreigner for the country, sometimes I feel that it is difficult to understand all the emotions of these great soldiers. Lying on a big tree beside, I have fallen into deep thought, I guess that there is more for the stories really want to express.
