Backpack advice, size etc?
Hi There!
I’m going to glastonbury this year, and am taking public transport to and from the site. I’m looking into buying a heavy duty backpack to carry my kit.
Despite being an absolute wimp when it comes to being without my creature comforts, I’m trying to travel light.
I’ll be bringing a 2 man tent, 3 or so changes of clothes, a large sleeping bag, boots, and some minor food and water provisions (there will be food there obviously). On top of that all those little things that end up taking up so much room, sun cream, bin liners, ear plugs, torches, etc.
I was mainly wondering how big a backpack to get to fit all that in, and if a backpack would be the way to go in your opinion.
Any advice you can give me will be VERY gratefully received! Backpack related or not. Anything that’ll help me get out of 5 days at a festival alive.

Backpack is a necessity if you are going to be carrying that much stuff!
Personal suggestion…get one that has the support frame on the INSIDE (tons more room) rather than one on the outside. Also, make sure you carry the main weight on your hips, not your back…no one likes a backache!
