What bike brand is best for hybrid/cross?
Even though most of my riding will be on pavement (commuting to/from work/school, I would like something stronger and sturdier than a road bike (something that can take a few curb jumps or a heavy backpack), so I figure I would prefer a hybrid or even a CX bike with not too hefty of a price tag – say between $400-700. I am also a rather small person so I would like anything less than 15″, preferably around 13″-14″ and if I must then kid’s 24″. I hope that’s enough information to get a brand recommendation from everyone.
I am 5′ and I have stopped by a few bicycle shops. I’m just wondering what other people have experienced with various bikes. It’s nice to know which brands are more dependable to more people and other stuff like that.
