Names on Backbacks, does it ever not matter?
My child is in preschool, doesn’t walk to school, or loiter with her backpack, she’s picked up and dropped off, walked to class and walked to the car. We don’t use the backpack outside of school…does it matter whether or not her name is on it?
imo? never matters.
the proverbial and wildly unlikely creepy stalker who is going to abduct the child fromthe schoolyard steps surely could get by without it, and odds are other kids are going to be calling each other by name anyway, so said proverbial stalker doesn’t need to read it off a backpack.
instead, teach kids not to go somewhere with someone they don’t know.
