Carry-on: Hiking Backpacks – will they fit in the bulkhead?
Hi there
I’m looking to travel internationally for a hiking trip and was thinking of using a 60L backpack w/ an internal frame (i.e. like a North Face Terra 60). Question – will this meet the carry-on parameters? It makes me cringe thinking about getting my pack torn up or dirty from oil/grease from the handling process. Any knowledgeable advice in this regard would be most helpful. Thanks?
note – i travel frequently for work and i am aware of the # of pieces we’re allowed to bring on…what i’m asking is in regards to hiking backpacks (not your typical school backpack) – has anyone had experiences where they’ve been able to bring it on board with them.
